Ms. Traci

  • Ms.Traci has taught for fifteen years and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the learning process. She has worked in Arlington Independent School District, as well as Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District. Not only did she assist students with learning challenges, but also worked in the areas of curriculum and professional development.
About Traci:
  • Ms. Traci has three amazing children! Trey is fifteen years old and is a 10th graders at Boswell High. Tyler is an 8th grader who loves sports and attend Creekview Middle School. Anna is my 3rd grader at Greenfield Elementary. She enjoys playing volleyball and also loves dance.
  • Ms. Traci loves books! The older the better and she really likes the classics. Some of her favorite writers are: Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, Stephen King and Dr. Seuss!

Ms. Courtney

  • Ms. Courtney loves teaching elementary age children. She taught one year of Kindergarten in the Keller ISD school system. Ms. Courtney's passion is helping students to become better readers. 
About Courtney:
  • Ms. Courtney enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars. Ms. Courtney loves to sing and listen to many different kinds of music. She is involved in her church choir. Ms. Courtney is a big fan of Disney movies and musicals. Her favorite is Beauty and the Beast. 

Ms. Caroliina

Math / Science

  • B.A in Biology from New Jersey Institute of Technology
  • Minors: Chemistry, Applied Mathematics
  • GPA: 4.0; Summa Cum Laude
  • Caroliina specializes in tutoring secondary math and chemistry. In college she helped tutor several fellow undergraduates and worked as a voluntary teacher’s assistant for two professors.
About Caroliina :
  • Caroliina is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. She enjoys arts & crafts, Sudoku, meaningful conversations, and competitive board games.  

Philip P.

Math / Science

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology GPA of 4.0, Epsilon Eta Sigma, Summa Cum Laude
  • Philip has been a private tutor for the last three years and love helping students succeed. He tutors both elementary level and higher level math, physics, science, and more.
About Philip :
  • He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree at the King’s University. He is a joyful committed follower of Christ Jesus and currently attending Gateway Church. Some of his favorite activities  are playing music, hiking, and cooking. His bucket list includes skydiving, ministering to orphans in Mozambique, starting a business, and raising a large family after getting married. He is hoping to see you soon at Southlake Tutoring academy!  

Ms. Cai


  • B.A in Piano Performance from Shanghai Conservatory of Music
  • Master of Arts in Harp Performance from Texas Tech University
  • As a professional musician and a private instructor, Ms. Cai’s legacy is impressive. Mastering a unique and highly sought after training style through more than 30 years of private music instruction involving thousands of students in China, NYC and Texas. She brings out the best in anyone looking to master piano technique at any level. Through the years, she has guided students from their very note on the keyboard to advanced performances on the world’s biggest stages – including Carnegie Hall and at top Universities worldwide. Those who study under Ms. Cai consistently reach the highest levels of music performance year-in-and-year-out, winning hundreds of major awards along the way. She is loved and well respected by the generations of students who have studied under her guidance.
About Ms. Cai:
  • Ms. Cai is a well-traveled symphony harpist, an award-winning piano performer and the successful owner and operator of several large music studios in NYC and Texas. She is a former principal harpist at the Shanghai Opera house.  

Ms. Hannah


  • B.S. Art from the Rhode Island School of Design
  • Texas Teacher Certification: Art K-12
  • Working with children in Thailand, Cambodia, Hawaii, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Texas for many years.
  • Led multiple arts and craft vacation bible schools through local churches.
  • Offering art lessons for young aspiring artist in the DFW area.
  • Working with high school students to compile art portfolios.
About Hannah:
  • Hannah is currently the Art Director at Southlake Tutoring Academy. She is a freelance artist/muralist who loves working with children of all ages. She loves working with a broad range of mediums including, yet not limited to: acrylic, watercolor, oil, gouache, colored pencil, ink, graphite, airbrush, spray paint, and oil pastels. She also worked with at-risk children through recovery resource, and she did henna and street art fundraisers.

About Jason:
  • Mr. Jason has trained with some of the top international chess instructors, is experienced in scholastic training and competition as a National Junior Champion and as a chess coach. His classes focus on developing beginner’s skills, expanding class player’s knowledge and understanding, and refining technical preciseness.

  • Mrs Thompson’s passion is mentoring and teaching. She brings over 15 years of experience in the training and speaking profession. Her Public Speaking Youth Club Workshops, for ages 9-13, are filled with fun activities, group exercises and a final live dressed presentation.
